Chinese chicken stir-fry with Chinese cabbage

For a Chinese stir-fry with Chinese cabbage, you need the following ingredients: a medium-sized onion, 300 g Chinese cabbage, three peppers, a stick of lemongrass, 175 g canned bamboo shoots, two teaspoons oil, 400 g minced poultry, salt, pepper, 200 ml vegetable stock, 200 g kitharaki, a tablespoon of lemon juice, a teaspoon of paprika powder and fresh coriander.

  • First, peel the onion, clean the peppers, clean the Chinese cabbage, and cut everything into strips. Also, wash and finely chop the lemongrass.
  • Let the bamboo shoots dry in a colander.
  • Now put the oil in the pan and fry the minced meat in it. Then add the peppers and onions and sauté for about three minutes. Also mix in the lemongrass, season with salt and pepper, and deglaze with the vegetable broth.
  • Now let everything simmer for five minutes.
  • Boil the Kritharaki in salted water. Observe the packaging instructions.
  • Finally, add the Chinese cabbage strips and bamboo shoots to the pan and cook the mixture for another three minutes. Also add the cooked Kitharaki to the vegetables.
  • Season again with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and paprika powder. Sprinkle the dish with fresh coriander.
