Preserving: Orange Jelly with Kumquat

The perfect preserving: orange jelly with kumquat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Oranges fresh
  • 1 Fresh lime
  • 300 g Kumquat fresh
  • 1 packet Preserving sugar 2: 1
  1. Squeeze oranges (I had juice oranges) and lime. Juice (and small pieces of fruit) should make 700ml.
  2. Wash the kumquats with hot water and then use a meat grinder to grind them.
  3. Put everything together in a large saucepan and stir together.
  4. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, and let simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Then fill the twist-off jars, close them tightly and turn them upside down for a few minutes.
