Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of dry yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ liter of lukewarm water
- 30 g butter, soft
- some baking soda (3% caustic soda, from the pharmacy)
- Salt, coarse
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
enough for 12 pieces
Knead together all the other ingredients except the baking soda and coarse salt. Place the dough in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Then knead again and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a log and place it on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush the logs with the 3% baking soda solution using a pastry brush, make 2-3 diagonal cuts, and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes. They taste best warm from the oven.
