Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 carrots
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 200 g broccoli (frozen)
- 300 g chicken breast fillet(s)
- 4 tbsp oil
- Salt
- pepper
- 2 tbsp butter
- 100 ml vegetable broth, instant
- 100 ml cream
- 1 slice(s) cheese

Clean, peel, and slice the carrots. Wash the meat, pat dry, and slice into strips. Brown the meat in 2 tablespoons of heated oil. Season with salt and pepper, and keep warm. Heat the butter with the remaining oil and sauté the vegetables. Pour in the broth and simmer for about 4-5 minutes. Add the cream and then the cheese slice; let it melt. Return the chicken strips to the vegetables. Serve with pasta of your choice. Tip: If there are no children present, you can also add a little red wine—it tastes even better.
