Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry rolls, approx. 400-600g
  • 500 g cheese, grated, mild or spicy, to taste
  • 4 onions, red or white
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 cups of sweet cream
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

a kind of onion cake

Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet. The pastry sheets can overlap. Slice the onion into thin rings, add the starch, and mix well. Add the eggs, sweet and sour cream to the onions and mix well. Spread the cheese and onion mixture over the puff pastry. Bake in the oven at 180°C until the onions are golden brown. If you don’t have enough onions, feel free to add more. This is also great to prepare in advance.
