Puff pastry parcels with chickpeas

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 200 g chickpeas
  • 1 pointed pepper, green
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 2 tbsp sauce powder for brown sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • some caraway
  • some garlic pepper
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • olive oil
  • n. B. water

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Chop the onions and garlic, finely or coarsely, as desired. Sauté both in a pan with a little olive oil, then stir in the water (follow the package instructions) and the sauce mix. Once the sauce has boiled briefly, season with tomato paste, paprika, caraway, and garlic powder, and add salt. Chop the peppers and chickpeas. Divide the puff pastry into 9 pieces. Mix the vegetables with the sauce. Place 1 heaped teaspoon of the mixture onto each puff pastry rectangle and roll up. Bake according to the package instructions until the puff pastry parcels are golden brown.
