Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 5 eggs
- 150 g margarine
- 350 g sugar
- 1 tsp. clove powder
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 500 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 50 g candied lemon peel, finely ground
- 50 g hazelnuts, ground
- 1 cup of coffee
- 250 g powdered sugar
- some instant coffee powder
- some water
- some coffee beans
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 2 hours 20 minutes
still super juicy
Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Fold in the margarine. Add the spices. Finally, stir in the flour, baking powder, and coffee. Pour into a baking dish of your choice and bake at 175°C (fan oven). Once cooled, make a glaze from the powdered sugar, a little water, and instant coffee powder, and cover the cake with it. Decorate with coffee beans, if desired.
