Puff pastry parcels with cream cheese, salami, ham and cream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 packs of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
  • 1 pack of salami
  • 1 pack of cooked ham
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 cup of yogurt
  • 2 packs of cream cheese
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • Chili flakes or
  • 1 chili pepper(s)
  • Herbs of Provence
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the cream cheese with the yogurt. Dice the salami and ham. Add both to the cream cheese and yogurt mixture and mix well. Dice the bell peppers and finely chop the fresh chili pepper, and add both. Season to taste with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and Provençal herbs. Roll out the puff pastry (available in the refrigerated section already rolled up on baking paper) and cut into approximately 10 x 10 cm squares. Place a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on each square. Fold each corner individually toward the center. Then fold the other four corners in again. Brush the puff pastry with egg yolk or water. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven) (or as directed on the puff pastry package). Bake the puff pastry parcels for approximately 15-20 minutes (or as directed on the package). Remove from the oven. The parcels can be served warm or cold!
