Puff pastry parcels with minced meat and feta filling

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section (roll)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 small red bell pepper(s)
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 250 g minced beef
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • chili
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the onions, bell peppers, and garlic, then finely chop the onion and bell pepper. Crush the garlic. Finely dice the feta cheese. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat, bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Add the feta cheese and let it melt slightly. Season to taste. Set the pan aside, remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator, and roll out the roll. Cut the dough into three equal strips. Spread the minced meat evenly between the pieces of dough (on one half), then fold it over and press the edges together. Bake the parcels in a preheated oven at 180°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes until golden brown. The parcels can also be prepared in advance, frozen, and then thawed and baked later.
