Puff pastry sticks with nut filling

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry (quick-and-easy puff pastry) 450 g each
  • 300 g nuts or almonds, ground
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder (Kaba)
  • 300 g cream
  • Cake icing (powdered sugar icing)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the nuts with the sugar, cocoa, and cream. Spread half of the puff pastry with the nut mixture, then place the other half on top. Cut into approximately 1.5 cm wide strips and twist each strip twice. Bake for a good 10 minutes at 220°C, then cover with the powdered sugar glaze while still warm.
