Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g margarine for baking
- 60 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 m.-sized eggs
- 250 g flour
- 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
- 2 apples
- 1 pack of chocolate (chocolate drops or chocolate chips)
- some powdered sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Beat the baking margarine, sugar, vanilla sugar, and 2 eggs with a mixer for at least 3 minutes until smooth. Mix the sifted flour and baking powder together and stir in. Peel and core the apples, cut them into wedges, and dice the wedges into small pieces. Mix the diced apples into the batter. Stir in the chocolate chips. (If the batter is too stiff, you can thin it with a little apple juice.) Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan oven: 200°C / gas mark 4). Divide the batter by tablespoons onto 2 baking sheets lined with baking paper. It’s best to place them in rows 4 – 3 – 4, staggered from top to bottom. This batter yields approximately 22 cakes. Bake the apple clusters in the oven on the 1st and 3rd rack for 10 – 12 minutes. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar. Tip: If you like, you can add some lemon or cinnamon to the dough.
