Pumpkin and Turkey Strips
The perfect pumpkin and turkey strips recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 400 g Sliced turkey
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 pole Leek
- 300 g Hokkaido pumpkin
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 1 teaspoon Flour
- 2 teaspoon Curry powder
- 1 Can Coconut milk
- 150 ml Vegetable broth
- Wash the sliced turkey, pat dry and fry until golden brown in a pan with hot oil, season with salt and pepper, remove from the pan and keep warm.
- Clean the leek, cut into rings, core the pumpkin, peel the onion, dice both and sauté in the pan with the butter
- Now mix the curry powder with the flour, add to the vegetables and sauté briefly.
- Deglaze the whole thing with the coconut milk and the vegetable stock and simmer on a low flame for about 10 minutes.
- Finally add the meat again and heat briefly, season with salt and pepper.
