Pumpkin-cranberry jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 600 g pumpkin flesh
  • 400 g cranberries, fresh
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • ½ vanilla pod(s), the pulp
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

an autumnal and fruity jam

Peel the pumpkin. Boil the berries and pumpkin in a little water for about 10 minutes. Add the spices. Then stir in the gelling sugar and let it boil for at least 3 minutes. Test the setting time and pour the jam into sterile jars. If desired, let the cranberries soak in a little sugar for 1-2 hours before processing.
