Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g potatoes
  • 1 ½ onions
  • 150 g cooked ham
  • 2 gherkins
  • 30 g butter or margarine
  • 125 ml gravy or ready-made product
  • 150 g crème fraîche
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 1 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Wash the potatoes, cover with water, bring to a boil, and cook for 20-25 minutes. Drain, peel while still hot, and let cool. Slice the potatoes. Peel the onions. Dice the onions, cooked ham, and gherkins. Melt butter or margarine in a pan. Fry the potato slices, diced onions, ham, and gherkins. Stir in the meat juices and crème fraîche, heat briefly, season with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with a green salad or tomato salad.
