Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 80 g sugar
  • 80 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 220 g flour
  • 750 g quark
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 packs of pudding powder, almond flavor
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 125 ml oil
  • 500 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sift the flour and baking powder through a sieve. Add the sugar, butter, egg, and salt to the flour. Knead until smooth, wrap in foil, and chill for at least 30 minutes. Then roll out slightly larger than a springform pan. Place in the springform pan and pull up one edge. Prick the dough with a fork. Mix together the quark, sugar, custard powder, egg yolk, salt, oil, and milk. Pour onto the dough. Bake in a preheated oven (E: 180 degrees Celsius) for about 45 minutes. Beat the egg whites and sugar until stiff peaks form. Remove the cake from the oven, spread the beaten egg whites on top, and bake for another 20 minutes.
