Quark Cake with and without Base
The perfect quark cake with and without base recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Quark
- 1 Cup Edible oil tasteless
- 3 Pc. Egg
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Custard powder
- 0,5 l Milk
- IMPORTANT – if you want to bake with DOUGH ingredients or do not have a tight springform pan !!! *** Dough ingredients: 150 gr. Flour sifted; 1 teaspoon baking powder; 60 gr. Sugar; 1 pc egg; 60 gr. Margarine; *** Process all dough ingredients into a mass and distribute this in the baking pan (calculated for a normal round springform pan) If the baking tins are leaky, please push up about 2 cm at the edge!
- Otherwise, mix all of the specified ingredients with a mixer. *** Mass is LIQUID !!!
- Pour the liquid mixture into the cake pan. *** If you like, you can also add raisins or fruit fruits here!
- Now bake the whole thing for 40-45 minutes over medium heat (180 ° C). Convection cooker takes a little longer! *** Tip: Put a baking sheet or paper on top when baking and leave it on until the cake has cooled down in the oven, then the cake will not collapse!
