Quark cake with strawberries

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 6 tbsp flour
  • 5 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 kg quark
  • 200 ml milk
  • 100 g sugar
  • 20 g gelatin
  • 500 g strawberries or other fruits
  • 1 pack of cake glaze, red
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 7 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 7 hours 37 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C or 180°C fan-assisted. Mix the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients and mix with a mixer until the mixture bubbles. Pour the batter into a well-greased springform pan and bake in the preheated oven for approx. 12 minutes. For the quark layer, place a cake ring around the cooled base. Mix the quark, milk, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Slowly add the liquid gelatin. Fold in the strawberries. Pour the quark mixture onto the fruit base and spread evenly. Refrigerate the cake for at least 6 hours. Mix the glaze and pour it over the hardened quark mixture using a spoon. Swirl the cake gently to ensure the glaze is evenly distributed. Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour.
