Quark Cakes with Fruit Sauce

The perfect quark cakes with fruit sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Flour
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 200 g Lowfat quark
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • Salt
  • Butter
  • 1 Can Pineapple pieces
  • 1 tbsp Powdered sugar
  • 150 g Frozen raspberries
  • 1 tbsp Food starch
  • 4 tbsp Dessert sauce fruit
  1. Mix flour, milk, quark, eggs, cinnamon, sugar and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough and leave to swell for approx. 10 minutes.
  2. Melt a little butter for each cake in a small pan and bake about 2 tablespoons of batter until golden brown. Stack the finished cakes on four plates to form small towers.
  3. For the fruit sauce, bring the pineapple with the juice and powdered sugar to the boil, add the raspberries and simmer over low heat for approx. 2 minutes. Thicken with the cornstarch, bring to the boil briefly, then mix in the dessert sauce.
  4. Pour the hot sauce over the quark cakes and serve immediately.
