Quark Crumble Cake
The perfect quark crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the dough:
- 180 g Butter
- 300 g Flour
- 150 g Sugar
- 1 P Vanilla sugar
For covering:
- 250 g Butter
- 200 g Sugar
- 3 Eggs
- 5 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 packet Grated lemon peel
- 500 g Quark
- 1 packet Vanilla custard powder
- 1 Glass Gooseberries
For the dough:
- Melt the butter and place in a mixing bowl
- Add flour, sugar and vanilla sugar and knead.
- Roll out 2 / 3 of the dough in a springform pan, put the remaining dough aside.
- Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 10 minutes.
For covering:
- Put the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and stir.
- Add eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest and stir.
- Add quark and pudding powder and stir in.
- Place the quark mixture on the pre-baked base.
- Drain the gooseberries well and spread on top.
- Shape the remaining 1/3 of the dough into crumbles and sprinkle over them.
- Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 50 minutes.
