Quark Crumble Cake

The perfect quark crumble cake recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the dough:

  • 180 g Butter
  • 300 g Flour
  • 150 g Sugar
  • 1 P Vanilla sugar

For covering:

  • 250 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 5 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 packet Grated lemon peel
  • 500 g Quark
  • 1 packet Vanilla custard powder
  • 1 Glass Gooseberries

For the dough:

  1. Melt the butter and place in a mixing bowl
  2. Add flour, sugar and vanilla sugar and knead.
  3. Roll out 2 / 3 of the dough in a springform pan, put the remaining dough aside.
  4. Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 10 minutes.

For covering:

  1. Put the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and stir.
  2. Add eggs, lemon juice and lemon zest and stir.
  3. Add quark and pudding powder and stir in.
  4. Place the quark mixture on the pre-baked base.
  5. Drain the gooseberries well and spread on top.
  6. Shape the remaining 1/3 of the dough into crumbles and sprinkle over them.
  7. Bake at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for about 50 minutes.
