Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g quark (low-fat quark)
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 6 tbsp milk
  • 8 tbsp oil
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 ½ packets of baking powder
  • 1 jar sour cherries or
  • 1 can of fruit of your choice
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 200 g flour
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Grease for the tray

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Sheet cake with fruit

For the dough, mix the low-fat quark, sugar, egg, salt, milk, and oil using the dough hook of a hand mixer on high speed. Then gradually stir in the flour and baking powder. Next, grease a baking tray, roll out the dough, and form a rim around the edges of the baking tray with the dough. Drain the sour cherries or fruit first, then spread them over the dough. For the crumble, knead the butter or margarine, flour, sugar, and vanilla sugar using the dough hook of a hand mixer on high speed, then crumble the crumble onto the cake. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 25 to 30 minutes.
