Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 30 g margarine or butter
- Salt
- ½ lemon(s) (juice and zest)
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 80 g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 200 g quark
- 200 g flour
- ½ pack of baking powder
- 30 g raisins, soaked
- Fat, for frying
- powdered sugar

Whisk the margarine, spices, and sugar until fluffy. Add the lemon juice, eggs, and quark. Sift the flour with the baking powder and add it to the batter along with the soaked raisins. Scoop out the mixture with a spoon and fry in hot oil. Sprinkle with powdered sugar to serve.
