Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g quark, low-fat quark also possible
  • 350 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • some butter as desired

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C fan/convection oven. Combine the quark, flour, baking powder, and salt and knead into a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 8 pieces, each weighing approximately 90g. Shape the dough portions into pretzels or rolls. Brush the pretzels with butter, if desired. Bake the pretzels or rolls in a hot oven for 25 minutes. Using regular quark and wholemeal spelt flour, one serving (consisting of 2 pretzels or rolls) contains 465 kcal and 21.75 g of protein.
