Quark – rice – casserole

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g rice pudding
  • ¼ liter of milk
  • lemon juice
  • Butter, in flakes
  • Fruit as desired
  • Raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

The rice does not need to be cooked, it is very quick

Beat the butter, sugar, and eggs thoroughly with a mixer. One after the other, stir in the quark, rice pudding, half the milk, and the lemon juice. Add chopped fruit (apple, banana) or berries, if desired. Pour the mixture into a suitable dish (we use a “Rein” in Bavaria). I then mix a few raisins into one side with a spoon, because not everyone here likes raisins! Pour the remaining milk over the top and top with butter flakes. Bake at 180-200°C for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.
