Quiche: White Cabbage Quiche
The perfect quiche: white cabbage quiche recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
the dough
- 200 g Flour type 550
- 80 g Butter
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Water
the topping
- 300 g Roasted white cabbage from my KB http://www./rezept/469387/Gemuese-Weisskraut-geroestet.html
- 100 g Black Forest ham
- 1 piece Egg
- 50 ml Cream 10% fat
- 50 g Mountain cheese, coarsely grated
the dough
- Mix the flour with salt, butter and vinegar. Carefully and slowly add cold water until a smooth dough is formed.
- Roll out the dough on a floured bottle under cling film, place in a greased cake tin (28 cm) and pull up the edge.
the topping
- Cut the ham into small strips and fry in a pan.
- Spread the cabbage on the dough and pour the ham on top.
- Now bake at 190 degrees in a preheated oven with bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
- Whisk the egg with the cream and pour over the quiche, spread the grated cheese on top and bake with top / bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
