Quiche: White Cabbage Quiche

The perfect quiche: white cabbage quiche recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

the dough

  • 200 g Flour type 550
  • 80 g Butter
  • 0,5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon White wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Water

the topping

  • 300 g Roasted white cabbage from my KB http://www./rezept/469387/Gemuese-Weisskraut-geroestet.html
  • 100 g Black Forest ham
  • 1 piece Egg
  • 50 ml Cream 10% fat
  • 50 g Mountain cheese, coarsely grated

the dough

  1. Mix the flour with salt, butter and vinegar. Carefully and slowly add cold water until a smooth dough is formed.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured bottle under cling film, place in a greased cake tin (28 cm) and pull up the edge.

the topping

  1. Cut the ham into small strips and fry in a pan.
  2. Spread the cabbage on the dough and pour the ham on top.
  3. Now bake at 190 degrees in a preheated oven with bottom heat for about 20 minutes.
  4. Whisk the egg with the cream and pour over the quiche, spread the grated cheese on top and bake with top / bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
