Ingredients for 4 servings:
- Butter or margarine for the mold
- 1 pack of puff pastry from the refrigerated section
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 2 eggs
- 200 ml milk
- 1 cup of cream cheese or crème fraîche, approx. 200 g
- salt and pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- 100 g cooked ham
- 250 g Gouda, grated
- 100g bacon
- optional spice(s) of your choice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Line the puff pastry in the quiche dish, including the edges. Cut the spring onions and ham into pieces. Cut the bacon into pieces, then fry and drain on kitchen paper. Whisk the eggs, milk and a little cream cheese or crème fraîche until creamy. Season with salt, pepper, paprika and any other spices you like. Add the spring onions, ham, cooked bacon and Gouda to the quiche dish and mix. Pour the whisked mixture over the top and bake the quiche in the oven for 30-40 minutes. The quiche is ready when the puff pastry has risen and the mixture rises. After removing it from the oven, let it cool briefly to allow the mixture to set.
