Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 250 g quark
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 packet of baking powder plus 1/2 tsp extra
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tsp, leveled salt
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • 150 g smoked meat, diced
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds
  • some grated cheese for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fry the diced smoked meat in a pan and stir in all the other ingredients (you can adjust the amount of cheese and caraway seeds to your liking). Form the mixture into small, plum-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the balls with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes. They taste best the same day and are really quick to prepare.
