Quick bean and mettwurst pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 sausages (Mettenden)
  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 gr. can/n beans (snap beans) or
  • 500 g beans (princess beans), frozen
  • savory
  • pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Mettenden sausages into thin slices and place them in a nonstick pan without fat, and fry them slowly. Meanwhile, peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces. Add them to the browned Mettenden sausages and fry briefly. Important: Do not add salt! Then add the beans and their stock and simmer gently for about 20-25 minutes. If using frozen beans, add a little water if necessary to allow the potatoes to braise thoroughly. Finally, season to taste.
