simple, quick and delicious

For the batter, beat the eggs with butter and sugar until fluffy. Mix the baking powder and flour and add to the egg mixture. Pour the batter into a 26 cm springform pan lined with baking paper and scatter the chopped apples on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, whisk the quark with the sugar, sour cream, and cornstarch. Spread the mixture onto the briefly pre-baked cake. Bake the whole thing for about 50-60 minutes at 180°C! P.S. The batter may mix slightly with the apples and quark mixture, but this doesn’t change the flavor and it even looks funny when sliced!
