Quick Calzone

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pkt. pizza dough (ready rolled, refrigerated counter) with tomato sauce
  • 1 can mushrooms, sliced, drained
  • 150 g ham, cooked or salami
  • 200 g cheese (pizza cheese), grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Preheat oven to 180°C. Roll out the pizza dough and cut it in half. Spread about half of the tomato sauce evenly with a spoon on the divided piece of dough, leaving the edges free. Place the mushroom slices on the dough, then arrange the ham or salami (or both) on top. Spread 2/3 of the cheese over the topping. Fold the dough over and press the edges together (you can also fold the edges over slightly). Spread the remaining tomato sauce on top of the calzone and then sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top. Place in the oven. Depending on your oven, the baking time is approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure the cheese doesn’t get too brown. Tip: You can of course also use a vegetarian filling with vegetables of your choice.
