Quick chicken fricassee

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 1 small can of mushrooms
  • 1 small can of peas with carrots
  • 400 ml milk, 0.3% fat
  • 2 tbsp white wine, dry
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 100 ml broth
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil
  • 1 jar asparagus in pieces
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

WW suitable

Brush a nonstick skillet with 1 teaspoon of oil. Cut the meat into cubes, season with salt and pepper, and sear briefly. Add the broth and white wine. Close the lid and cook the meat until cooked through. Then add the mushrooms, peas and carrots, and asparagus—all drained—one after the other. Finally, add the milk and cornstarch and bring back to a boil until everything reaches the right consistency. Season with salt and pepper. This dish scores 4 points per serving. Served with potatoes, it scores 2 points more.
