Quick chicken strips

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken or turkey, fresh or frozen
  • 1 can mushrooms, whole heads
  • 1 head of broccoli, small head, fresh or frozen
  • 1 bottle of Cremefine with mushrooms
  • possibly milk
  • some fat for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Spice(s) of your choice
  • 1 small onion(s)

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, cook the broccoli as usual. Then, cut the meat into bite-sized pieces and sear well. When the meat is slightly browned, add the mushrooms and sear them, along with the finely diced onion. When everything is thoroughly cooked (takes less than 10 minutes), deglaze with the cream sauce. Dilute with a little milk if desired. Finally, add the chopped broccoli and heat briefly. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and spices. We particularly like it with tagliatelle, but it’s just as good with rice or potatoes. Tip: If you don’t have children to cook for, you can also add a good splash of white wine to refine the dish. And if you have children who don’t like broccoli, simply let it cook longer. It won’t be noticeable in the shredded meat, but it will give it a firmer texture.
