Quick chili con carne

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 300 g vegetable onions
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 400 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, hot
  • 1 gr. can/n kidney beans, 800 g
  • 1 small can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

The recipe is already 30 years old and still tastes just as good today

Clean the bell pepper and cut into pieces. Peel and dice the onions. Fry both in hot oil until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until crumbly and brown. Season with salt and paprika. Add the drained beans, tomatoes with their liquid, and crushed garlic. Stir everything together and season with chili powder. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
