Quick crispy whole-grain rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g rye flour (wholemeal)
  • 250 g spelt flour (wholemeal)
  • 1 pack of cream of tartar baking powder
  • ½ tsp bread spice mix
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 100 g mixed seeds, e.g. linseed, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds…
  • n. B. mineral water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Mix all ingredients thoroughly to form a nice bread dough. Leave a few seeds aside for sprinkling. Form the bread dough into flat rolls and press the tops firmly into the remaining seed mixture. Makes about 6 rolls. Bake for 20-30 minutes at 200°C fan-assisted oven. For extra crispiness, fill a small, heatproof bowl with water and place in the oven. Variations: You can add cheese, nuts, or herbs to the dough.
