Quick crumble fruit cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g vanilla pudding powder, alternatively cornstarch
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 500 g fruit, any, e.g. cherries

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

First, prepare the fruit. Wash and pit the cherries, for example. Combine all the cake ingredients and knead thoroughly until a crumble forms. Pour 3/4 of the crumble into the prepared baking pan (e.g., a 26cm springform pan) and press it lightly into the bottom to cover the entire base. Spread the fruit over the cake base and sprinkle the remaining crumble on top. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 25 minutes, and your quick crumble fruit cake is ready! Since I’m not very experienced in baking and the cake turned out well, anyone can make it!
