Quick lamb fillet

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g lamb fillet(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 shot of red wine
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Squeeze the garlic cloves. Crush the black peppercorns in a mortar. Rub the lamb fillets with the garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme. Brown in a pan with olive oil, deglaze with red wine, and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Stir in the crème fraîche at the end. Simple and delicious, especially with rataouille, beans, or spinach.
