Skewers with minced lamb and feta cheese

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g minced lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 50 g sheep’s cheese, crumbled
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • ½ tsp cumin powder
  • 3 tbsp parsley, flat, chopped
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 1 tbsp Pul Biber (Turkish chili-paprika spice, alternatively cayenne pepper)
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Kofte

Knead the first 8 ingredients together, season with salt and pepper. Form into rolls, thread onto skewers, and fry in a little olive oil for about 10 minutes on all sides. Serve with flatbread, garlic yogurt, and a salad. Tip: If using minced lamb, serve the rolls hot. You can also use minced beef and eat them cold.
