Quick minced beef stroganoff

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 onions, red
  • 500 g mushrooms
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Sugar
  • 600 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 3 gherkins, and 2 – 3 tbsp stock from the jar
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 3 tbsp mustard, medium hot

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Peel and dice the onions. Clean and wash the mushrooms, if necessary, and halve them. Fry them in 3 tablespoons of hot oil, season with salt and pepper, and remove them. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in the frying fat and fry the minced meat until coarsely crumbled, then season. Fry half of the onions with the onions. Dust with flour and sauté. Add 1/2 liter of water, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Dice the cucumbers. Wash and chop the parsley. Mix both with the remaining onions. Stir the sour cream and mustard into the minced meat pan and heat. Season with cucumber juice, salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sugar, and serve with chopped cucumbers. Serve with bread.
