Quick mushroom cream schnitzel

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 turkey or chicken schnitzels, each approx. 125 g
  • 1 bag of mushrooms (frozen)
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 4 tbsp cream substitute (Finesse from Du darfst, 7%)
  • Salt
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

the light and low-fat version

Sear the meat, seasoned with salt and pepper, in the heated oil, then remove from the pan. Sauté the mushrooms in the same pan (frozen mushrooms will release some water, which will also become the sauce). Return the meat, add the cream substitute, and stir in. Let it simmer briefly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with pasta, rice, or potatoes. The meat has 4 WW-P per person, plus the side dish. Tip: If you prefer fresh mushrooms, you might want to add broth or wine, otherwise there won’t be enough sauce. If you’re not on a weight watch, you can also use good, real cream.
