Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

simple, fast, tastes like store bought, cheap

Weigh all ingredients except the water and put them in a blender. Add the cold water and immediately blend or puree everything on high for 30 seconds. Then immediately pour it through a nut milk bag and bottle it (makes just over 1 liter). The milk will keep in the fridge (!) for about 4 days. Note: You can of course adapt the recipe to your needs; if you prefer more oat flavor, simply use about 10 g more oats. After a short time, the oat particles will settle to the bottom, so shake well before each opening. And a few more tips from my own experience: At first, I used a kitchen towel, but that definitely gave a different and – in my opinion – worse result. The warmer the water and the longer the oats sit in the water before blending, or the longer you blend, the slimier the drink becomes. And I really want to avoid that at all costs. Theoretically, you could make oat cookies or something similar from the leftovers in the bag. bake, but the amount is always so small that it’s not worth it for me.
