Quick onion soup

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 4 onions (vegetable onions)
  • 1 liter of broth
  • 1 jar white wine
  • 2 slices of toast
  • Cheese, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

quick and easy

Slice the onions into half rings and sauté in a pan with oil until translucent. Top up with the broth, gradually adding the white wine, seasoning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer on low heat for about half an hour. Ladle into bowls. Dice the bread and toast in butter. Place the toasted bread cubes on top of the soup in the bowls (do not stir them in, or they will soften too quickly) and sprinkle with cheese. Bake the bowls at 250°C until the cheese is golden brown.
