Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 m.-sized onion(s), half slices
- 1 bell pepper(s), small strips
- some margarine
- salt and pepper
- Sauce (Chinese sauce)
- 1 bag of rice
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Prepare the rice as usual. Quickly fry the onion and bell pepper over high heat to retain their color and firmness. Season generously, as some of the flavor is lost through the rice. I also use Chinese sauce as a seasoning and add it to the pan. Mix the rice and vegetables together. Ideal for singles who want something warm in a hurry, or for dieters, as the fat content is up to each individual. Tip: Sauté other vegetables with the dish, including roasted turkey.
