Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g nuts, ground
  • 125 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 5 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp Calvados
  • 1 ½ jars of morello cherries
  • 750 ml whipped cream
  • 1 pack of cake glaze
  • 4 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 4 packs of cream stiffener
  • 200 g confectionery (Ferrero Rocher)
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the butter, sugar, and egg yolks until fluffy. Gradually stir in the baking powder, nuts, chocolate, and Calvados. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Grease a springform pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 175°C for about 30 minutes. Let the cake base cool. You can also buy a ready-made cake base. Drain the morello cherries and spread them on the cooled batter. Prepare the glaze with the sour cherry juice and pour over the cherries. Whip the cream with the cream stiffener and vanilla sugar until stiff. Crush the Rocher in a mortar and pestle. Mix the stiffened cream with the cream stiffener and pour over the cherries. Decorate with Rocher balls.
