Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g wheat flour (type 405)
  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 2 bags of dry yeast
  • 2 tsp, heaped sugar
  • 2 tsp, heaped salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 handful of basil, fresh
  • Grease for the tray
  • Flour for the baking sheet

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Place the flour in a bowl and form two wells. Add the yeast to one well and a little water to cover the yeast. Finely tear the basil and add it to the other well with the remaining ingredients. Add the remaining water and knead everything into a smooth dough. Roll out the dough immediately (no resting time required) and place it on a greased and floured baking sheet. Top with your favorite toppings and bake as usual.
