Quick Potato Hash Browns
The perfect quick potato hash browns recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 size Potato
- 1 middle Carrot
- 1 half Onion
- 1 half Salt and pepper
- 1 half Nutmeg
- 2 tablespoon Potato flour
- 2 teaspoon Gourmet fine seasoning
- 2 teaspoon Oil
Preparation
- Peel the potato, carrot and onion – grate everything with a coarse grater – season the mixture with salt, pepper, gourmet fine seasoning and nutmeg – add potato flour and mix everything together well – DO NOT EXPRESS the mixture !!!
Fry hash browns
- Heat plenty of oil in a pan – put small piles in the hot fat – press the edges cleanly – fry quickly on full heat – flatten the surface a little so that everything can cook evenly – when the underside has enough color turn over and fry the degrease finished hash browns on kitchen crepe

- for all those who want to buy something like that: this nutmeg mill from Ad Hoc is INgenious … it is not grated but it effortlessly cuts off extremely fine particles from the nutmeg … highly recommended !!!
