Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter, soft
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 240 g flour
- 2 packets of vanilla pudding powder
- Powdered sugar for dusting, or chocolate glaze
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 45 minutes
Mix the butter with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Then knead in the pudding powder and flour. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill for about 1 hour. Shape a small portion of dough (about the size of a walnut) into balls between your hands and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Flatten the balls with a lightly floured fork. Bake the pudding cookies in a preheated oven (180°C with conventional heating / 160°C with fan-assisted heating) for 10 to 15 minutes. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar or decorate with chocolate icing. My tip: Also delicious with chocolate pudding powder, but use only 1 packet of vanilla sugar and add 2 teaspoons of cocoa.
