- Carbonated mineral water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Put the frozen fruit in a punch bowl and pour the wine over it. White wine is always good, and rosé also goes well with strawberries, for example, as it gives them a beautiful color. The wine doesn’t need to be chilled, as the fruit is frozen. You can let the mixture stand for a while until the fruit is almost completely thawed, but this isn’t essential. Add the sparkling wine just before serving to retain some of the carbonation. The sparkling wine can also be at room temperature. If you like, you can dilute the punch with mineral water to ensure the alcohol content isn’t too high. This punch is particularly suitable when you’re in a hurry, as there’s no need to chill the drinks. It’s also a quick way to make a punch if you don’t know how many guests you’ll be having or how keen they are.
