Quick Roasted Almonds
The perfect quick roasted almonds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 tablespoon Sugar brown
- 2 tablespoon Water
- 100 g Unpeeled almonds
- 1 Msp Cinnamon
- 5 g Butter
the quick version in the microwave
- Boil the water and sugar (on the stove or in the micro) – add unpeeled almonds and cinnamon and stir well – now place the pot in the microwave without the lid – simmer for 2 minutes at 720 watts – take out, stir well and stir again for 2 minutes Cook at 720 watts – take out again, stir and check how far the caramel is – if necessary, put it in again 1-2 times for 30 seconds and continue cooking – but CAUTION at this stage the almonds burn easily if you are not careful – last add another piece of butter (prevents the almonds from sticking together) – swirl well and briefly again in the micro – when the butter has spread evenly over the almonds, the finished almonds are placed on an oiled dish to cool
Conclusion
- the microwave almonds taste really good and are definitely faster and easier to prepare! The sugar layer is a bit thinner and rougher … However, the almonds normally prepared on the stove are a tad finer in taste, and they are crunchier on the outside than microwave almonds …
