Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

cheap and good – prepared with minced meat also as a party pot

Sauté the bacon and onion cubes, add tomato paste, and cook everything together briefly. Finely chop the beef goulash, add it, and continue to cook over high heat. Once the beef is seared all over, add a little vegetable stock and a little pickle juice (sounds strange, but it adds a subtle flavor). Reduce the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes. Add the cucumber cubes and top up with more stock and pickle juice as needed. Bring to a boil briefly and season with mustard, salt, and pepper.
