Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 6 rolls, from the can, 330 g
- 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
- 1 pack of sausage (Bündner Fleisch), or any other type of sausage/meat
- 1 pack of grated cheese
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 250 g leaf spinach, frozen
- 1 salt and pepper
- n. B. herbs, e.g. oregano, basil etc.
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Remove the rolls from the tin and roll them out on a floured surface. This will make 6 mini pizzas. Purée the peeled tomatoes with a hand blender. Then add the tomato paste, salt, and pepper and mix. You can now refine the sauce as desired. I like to use oregano and basil, but chili or curry powder would also work. If the sauce is too runny, you can add a little sour cream or cream. Spread the tomato sauce on the pizzas. You can then top the pizzas as desired. In my version, I like to place a few slices of Bündner Fleisch (Bündner meat) and leaf spinach on the pizzas. Then sprinkle cheese on top. This combination makes the pizzas relatively low in calories and fat. Place the pizzas on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 200°C. I like to make these pizzas for myself. A lunch meal consists of 3 pizzas.
