Quick tomato soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 can/n tomatoes (pizza tomatoes, 400 g each)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 1 tsp thyme, dried
  • 1 cup noodles, small (star, chicken)
  • salt and pepper
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Nice and spicy

Peel and dice the onion and garlic, and sauté gently in a pan with olive oil for about 5 minutes. Stir in the pizza tomatoes and, before the thick tomato splashes start bubbling, pour in the broth. Add the finely chopped basil and thyme and let the soup simmer gently for about 30 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and sugar. In a separate pan, cook the pasta in boiling water until tender, then stir it into the soup at the end.
